My new 'favorite' friend :)

First of all, Thank You so much Auntie Debbie for my new toy! It is becoming one of my favorites!

Now...of all of the little people on the bus, I always 'choose' the same one! My daddy has named him Hoyt. He has blonde hair, and wears a green shirt. I just really like him! My mommy and daddy have started doing little experiments, and sure enough, I always find him.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Merry Christmas from Florida Everyone!!

Mommy, Daddy and I have been relaxing all day :) I got so many fun new things that I can't decide what to play with first! Thank you everybody who got me a gift...I am so lucky to have you all as my family and friends :)

I am finally starting to feel better today from my double pink eye and bronchitis :( I still have a little cough and runny nose, which is very annoying, but hopefully that will be gone soon too!

10 Months Old & Merry Christmas Spicer's!!

I was 10 months old yesterday, and I am a walking machine!! I want to walk everywhere, and I can stand myself up now from the floor! Because my mommy and I are going back to Florida, we had a little Christmas party with my Spicer family too! It was crazy, but fun!! I got so many great presents, and I can't wait to use/wear them!!
Mostly, I am SO anxious to see my Daddy! It has been way too long, and I can't wait to play with him :) And then, we get to have another Christmas, just us :)

Back in GF!!

Mommy and I are back in Grand Forks!! We were greeted at the airport by Nana, and 2 degree temperature!! Mommy stuffed me into my hat, mittens and big winter coat (Thank you Auntie Beth :) and I wasn't very happy! It's a lot different than Florida, but I love seeing everybody!!

I got to see ALL of my cousins in the last couple of days! I even got to see T.J. today, who came up from Fargo with his mommy and daddy! I missed them all so much...I'm having SO much fun playing with them!

Otherwise, I have been quite busy with some other things...like learning to WALK!!!! Yes, I think I just might be getting the hang of it! My mommy keeps saying she can't believe it, and my Daddy is sure going to be surprised when I see him :) I can't wait to show off for him!

Fun Eating

Happy December everyone! I have a new favorite snack, saltine crackers!! mmmm, they are so good and I love that I get to bite and chew it all by myself :) Here's also a little video of me and mommy having some fun eating! You can get a good look at all of my teeth too :)

By the way...Mommy and I are coming back to Grand Forks the 11-20th!! Daddy will be gone AGAIN, so we're going home! I'm very excited, but I think I'll need to borrow a winter coat when I get there. This girl's not use to the cold!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! My first turkey day was so fun! My mommy and daddy cooked a lot of food for just us 3! Mommy said I'll be eating leftovers for awhile, but that's ok with me because I loved it all! I especially liked the stuffing. Mmmm :) We hung out at home and relaxed most of the day, but after dinner we took a walk down by the water and it was beautiful. There is a picture of me with my daddy, and some others from the day!

9 Months Old!

I'm 9 months old today! My mommy keeps saying that she can't believe it, but I am way too busy to pay attention to her :) I have 4 teeth now, and the 5th is coming very soon. Some of my favorite foods now are turkey, bananas and sweet potatoes! I am such a good crawler now, and I can also pull myself up on just about anything :) Here I am being my happy self!

Oh Happy Day!!!

Sorry I haven't posted anything for awhile...We have officially and finally moved out of the hotel!!!

Mommy and Daddy found us a great townhouse, and we moved in last Friday! I am so excited, and my parents seem to be even happier! There are some new things to explore in my new house, and I am so busy checking it all out. I am now crawling everywhere, and am getting so fast too! I still LOVE to stand, but am not quite sure about the walking stuff yet. I still think it's a little scary to take a step without hanging on! I'm also trying new foods all of the time, and am getting better and better at feeding myself. Mommy says that I'm becoming such a big girl!

The weather here has been beautiful, and mommy and I have been able to go for walks everyday! I love to sit and relax in my stroller :) We've also been exploring Tampa more, and really liking it all!

I promise to get some new pictures of me and the house up soon, but in the meantime, here is a little video of me learning another new thing! (Mommy says she's sorry it's not very clear, she had to use her phone camera :)

Love to Read

I love it when Mommy and Daddy read with me. I think books are so interesting, and I love to look at the pictures and touch the pages while they read to me. Here I am reading a book about colors with Daddy!

Bubble Bath

Bath time has always been one of my favorite parts of the day, but today I had my first BUBBLE Bath!! I loved it!

Those little bubbles are crazy, but a lot of fun to play with :) I really wanted to eat them, but Mommy kept saying that wasn't a good idea. Oh well. I still had such a great time splashing and playing! I can't wait for bath time tomorrow :)

I am getting so good at standing up now! It makes me so happy and excited when I can do it all by myself :) I still fall down on my bum a lot, but everyday I can balance longer and longer!

Stand Up!

I really don't like crawling on the hard kitchen floor, so I straighten my legs and try to stand up. Here are a couple videos of me trying, and what happened when I got a little help from the pillow... :)

Go Lightning!

Mommy and I went to Daddy's Hockey Game against the NJ Devils yesterday. Mommy said Daddy use to play for them, but now we cheer for Tampa Bay!! I was so excited to watch the game, and I even got to crawl around downstairs in the family room between periods! I was on the bigscreen during the game too, jumping on mommy's lap!

Mommy said she was very proud of me because I was so good, but I was just having so much fun!

I also got another tooth...One on top now! Mommy said it's a little fang, just in time for Halloween :)

My mommy and daddy thought this would be the cutest costume for me! The hat bugs me though, and I am very happy they aren't actually taking me anywhere in it :)

I am also going to my daddy's hockey game this afternoon! It is my first game here, and I am so excited! GO DADDY! Go Lightning!

Hello Everyone! Greetings from Tampa!

Hi Everyone!

After many e-mails to many different people, I decided that this could be a much better way for you all to keep up with us and for us to keep you posted on the Hales...especially our Nora Bean :)

We are now in Tampa, FL and things are good so far. We are still in a hotel, but hopefully not for too much longer. (Thinking good thoughts!)

Nora is 8.5 months now, and growing and learning everyday. She is crawling all over, and is very busy these days! She is a very happy little girl, and we are having so much fun!

I will try to keep this as up to date as possible, so please check back often to watch Nora grow!
